Thetford Taser Death Highlights Need for More Mobile Mental Health Crisis Teams | Seven Days.

This article emphasizes the importance of partnership between law enforcement and community mental health providers.  Crisis intervention training should be mandatory for all law enforcement, and law enforcement should be able to consult with or call out mental health crisis workers when needed.  Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy for state government to release funding for these sorts of initiatives.
